“ This Hong Kong–style cart noodles joint is an absolute ripper. The broth’s packed with flavour, proper rich and well-balanced, and you can tell everything’s made with care. The noodles have a great bite, and the toppings are spot on — especially the brisket and fish balls, bloody delicious. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the whole place has a warm, no-fuss vibe. Deadset one of the best comfort feeds around, would happily come back again and again. ”

“ Amazing portions for the prices. The pineapple bun was delicious. The french toast was a let down (Too thin, it would have been nice to have thicker sliced toast). The grilled meat on rice, spring onion noodles and 3 choice toppings noodle soup (pork bone base) are all tasty. Refer to photo to see how much noodles in noodle soup. Toilet: clean Take away container surcharge : None Chilli oil : Present on table Only water, no hot Chinese tea (Can add $2 for drinks with your meal) the HK Tea+Coffee was delicious and served in a BIG glass. The place can probably fit about 15 customers. There are seven 2 hr car parks in front of the store and another seven 1 hr car parks on the other side of the road. However, can also park on Riversdale Road but have to walk further. Will definitely come back again. ”

“ Disclaimer: i'm not from HK. But I have been there and tried cart noodles and "Cha Chan Teng" before. To me, this tastes the same as HK. What it is: think of fusion food, except this time it's Asians adapting Western cuisine to Asian taste. Don't order a spaghetti thinking you will get an Italian spaghetti. Don't order a hot dog thinking it's the same as a Western hot dog. "Portuguese sauce" is like nothing you have ever tasted in Portugal (it has turmeric, curry powder, evaporated milk, chicken broth, etc. in it). These are very much Asian adaptations, different dishes in their own right. And of course there are 100% Cantonese dishes on the menu, but they are very much Hong Kong Cantonese style, where the flavours are more subtle and muted and not Malaysian Cantonese style where the flavours are bolder. If you go in with these expectations, you won't be disappointed. Prices are reasonable, portions are large, and the atmosphere is casual and friendly. Food arrives quickly and it's really fresh. There is absolutely nothing to complain about, except that all the locals know about it and the place is always crammed! A larger restaurant would be nice! Tip: the plain fried chicken wing is better than the salted pepper and chilli chicken wing. No batter, and it's less oily. It's also cheaper. Tip 2: don't be greedy and over-order. When the food comes and you see the portion size, you will be in trouble. ”

“ A small HK style cafe, serving HK style cart noodles/rice, which is basically choose you own noodle type, topping and sauce... it is a great option to tailor the meal to meet your dietary requirements. The drinks are good. It also serves some snacks e.g. HK style French toast, HK style pineapple bun amd deep fried chicken wings. Friendly staff and quick service. Do expect a line during peak lunch hour. ”

“ Trying to find a nice restaurant (looking at those above 4.5 Stars on google) for lunch on Monday is tough. Most that I knew were closed. After searching for a while, I found a hidded gem. My first time here in this smallish place and it was packed. We ordered the cart noodles and it was delicious with generous portions of "liao". The beef tripe and tendon were cooked perfectly and the beef broth was light but tasty. The tendon actually melts in your mouth. Also noticed a lot of ppl tabao-ing. They must be regulars living nearby. ”

The variety of toppings for the cart noodle customisation is huge- everything we tried was delicious, especially the big intestines, beef tendon, curry pig skin, and beef brisket. ???????? Top 90s–00s Canto hits playing in the background and no weekend surcharge make it feel like the good ol' days. The chili oil packs a punch. Self-service table water, and free guest Wi-Fi since there’s no phone reception inside. There’s one mixed-gender accessible toilet on site. Cash and card both accepted. ???????? “ New proper HK cafe that sells 車仔麵 and other usual cafe dishes. There was a good variety of food ingredients for the noodles and tasted quite nice. However, the turnip needed to cook a bit longer as it was not soft and juicy. The spaghetti was a bit bland. Overall, the food was ok and we don't mind trying this out again. ”
